St. Peter offers Enrichment Services to students in grades 2 – 5. Students who receive a 90% or higher score on the National MAP Achievement Test qualify for services in reading and/or math. Classes are conducted once per week by a State Certified Illinois Association for Gifted Children instructor.  

Mrs. Kirsch is a retired teacher of School District 54. She dedicates her time to the children of St. Peter as a volunteer teacher. Mrs. Kirsch leads our Enrichment Program for grades 2-5 and has an amazing education resume.

This includes: Master’s Degree in Curriculum & Instruction, Gifted Endorsement, Member of Illinois Association for Gifted Children (12 years), Member of Illinois Association for Gifted Children Advisory Board (5 years), Gifted Teacher (12 years), Enrichment Teacher (3 years), National Honor Roll of America’s Most Outstanding Teachers, and Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers.
