The LCMS Northern Illinois District is shining a spotlight on service from April 14-23, 2023. Throughout the district, groups of 2 or more people are asked to give witness to the love of Jesus through acts of service to their neighbors and communities. Simply join with some people from your church, school, small group, ministry group, family, etc., and serve together in a project of your own choosing.
And, imagine seeing our people in specially designed t-shirts all throughout the District during the SHINE! event serving and SHINING His light!
How is God calling St. Peter Schaumburg? While each classroom in our school will be doing an individual project, St. Peter congregation will focus on Phil's Friends. From now till 8am on April 18th, the St. Peter family can donate towards this cause. This can be monetary airmarked for Phil's Friends, shop for care package items (see list below), shop via the Amazon wish list (click link below), color cards, set up to volunteer at Phil's Friends, and/or share with family & friends.
