Operation Christmas Child asks generous people around the world to donate items to children who live in impoverished areas. These items are placed into a shoebox (wrapped with Christmas paper) and shipped around the world. When children are given their shoeboxes, they are invited to a 12-lesson Bible study that teaches them about the caring words of Jesus Christ.St. Peter is now collecting shoeboxes for OCC. Shoeboxes are available in the church lobby. Stop by the table in narthex to pick up your box and instructions on how to pack or go to www.samaritanspurse.org.
There are several ways to help St. Peter reach our goal of 200 boxes for OCC.
1) Pick up an OCC box & packing list and return it filled for a boy or girl by November 17th.
2) Donate monetarily or suggested gift items
3) Join us for the packing party on November 17th from 8am - 1pm. For more information click here to view the OCC website.
