St. Peter’s has had a food pantry for well over 30 years. The families that use our food pantry come to us by word of mouth. We feel that every person coming to use the food pantry is in need not only of the food we provide, but also in need to feel the love of Christ. We do our best to provide for their needs. We also try to provide for our members that have hit hard times. Families may come to us directly or through a church/school staff member.
We provide food for people in the following towns:Schaumburg, Hoffman Estates, Streamwood, and Hanover Park.
A valid ID and current Utility Bill (gas, electric) will be necessary for proof of address and one food pick-up per household per month.
Matthew 25:34-45 Then the King will say…. “For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me drink…” Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, “Lord when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You drink?” …The King will answer and say to them, “Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.”
