    Lifetime Plan for Giving

    Creating a Giving Plan

At our baptism, we were re-created in God’s image. As God is a generous God, we are to be generous people. But where does one get started? By completing a Lifetime Plan for Giving, assisted in the process by a trained gift planning counselor with the LCMS Foundation. Having a completed gift plan gives you peace of mind knowing that your wishes for responsibly passing on the gifts God has entrusted to you are fulfilled. Our gift planning counselors are prepared to help. We can provide a Lifetime Plan for Giving workbook for determining how and when your earthly assets are distributed to bless the family you love and the ministries you care about.  To learn more, contact Ray Pagels at

    Transfer the Blessings

    Equipping Ministries

Our Transfer the Blessings ministry is a two-pronged ministry put in place by the leaders of the congregation to help members practice good stewardship of the assets that will be a part of their estate when they are called home to heaven. Transfer the Blessings will help stewards through the spiritual stewardship process of planning how to distribute your earthly blessings. Transfer the Blessings will also aid the recipients of that generosity, whether family or ministry, to responsibly receive these gifts. For ministry, that means having policies and procedures in place that address the proper receipt, management and distribution of gifts. This gives the faithful giver confidence that the ministry will properly handle their generosity.

Good stewardship always begins with prayer. “ …  to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share … so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life.” 1 Timothy 6:18-19
